As a wedding celebrant in York, Yorkshire and beyond, I craft memorable ceremonies as inspiring and magical as you are. Let's prioritise the elements and people that matter most you. No compromises, just bags of joy! There truly are no limits. I bloomin' love the audacity of my couples. Fancy a singalong to Sweet Caroline? Want to involve your dog? It’s so important you find the right celebrant for you, so let’s find out if we click!
Have a good old rummage around on here. If you like my style, let's arrange a chat! We'll discuss your ideas, plans and I'll answer any questions you might have. This is with absolutely no obligation.

If that spark is there, we'll confirm your booking and start planning! I'll get to know you and your love story inside out (the best part).
I'll kick off by sending you a little date night and questionnaires. We'll then catch up (over a bevvy?) to work out all the exciting details of your beautiful day.
I'll be around for as much support as you need, anytime you need it.

After I’ve got all the juicy details, we might need a few more chats. We'll explore all the different elements of your ceremony, making sure it's going to reflect you perfectly. Then, I'll start working on your unique ceremony script! We'll stay in touch as much as you like through the process.
Only when you're flippin' delighted do we sign off the final script. We'll then have a rehearsal before the big day, and the fun begins!
What's included?
My little planning handbook (still need a better name for this...), a date night, and questionnaires. Everything you need to start your ceremony planning off with intention.
Unlimited support: planning meetings, WhatsApp groups, podcast-length voice notes (podcast tapas) – whatever you need.
We'll dig deep into each element of your ceremony; music, readings, symbolic actions, something new? Let's make sure it's exactly what you want.
Help and advice with writing your vows, including a mini vow workshop (if you fancy!),
Unlimited drafts and revisions of your ceremony script - it's got to be perfect.
Exclusively yours! I only book one ceremony a day, so will be on hand at least an hour before kick off.

Let's talk pricing...
By now I hope you know that you absolutely deserve to celebrate your love exactly as you want, and there should be no limits on how you go about it; you are bloody wonderful. I'm conscious that I'm sitting at the more spennier end of the Celebrants you’ll find – my astonishing couples say I’m worth it, and I hope you’ll agree, but I understand if I’m not the right choice for you. But – the biggest and fattest but – if I am the right Celebrant for you, I don’t want money to stand in our way. I am always always happy to talk about how we can make it work, whether that’s payment plans or just seeing what we can do, I’d love to chat about it with you. I’m a safe space for these kinds of conversations, and you can let me take the lead.
Can you legally marry us?
At the moment – independent celebrant led wedding ceremonies are not legally recognised in the UK (but let’s not let that stop us). Many couples choose to perform their legal marriage or civil partnership ahead of time at a Register Office. Find out more here.
What's the difference between a celebrant and a registrar?
While a Registrar can legally marry you, they can only do so in licenced venues. They also work from a limited 'fill-in-the-blanks' ceremony script. Registrars will often perform multiple ceremonies in a day. So you'll be limited when it comes to choosing timings. In contrast, a Celebrant takes away all limitations. We are exclusively yours for the day – just as it should be.
will our wedding feel real?
Yes! From running away to the beach to being surrounded by loved ones in your back garden, your celebration will be declaration of your love. The difference is, you're free to do it in the way most meaningful to you. It’s all about celebrating you both in the most authentic and personal way possible.
who do you perform ceremonies for?
YOU! Anyone and everyone! Love is love, and people of all genders and sexualities are worthy of celebration.
